Description: For sale is a single dryer strain relief cord clamp (cord not included). The clamp is used to keep the cords' connections from pulling out of the dryer and causing a potential electrical fault and/or fire. The clamps consist of four parts, the top half of clamp, the bottom half of clamp, and two screws used to secure the top and bottom halves together. This clamp is for round 4-prong cords. The photographs show the instructions for installation of a clamp which are included with each clamp. The round, black 4-prong cord shown in the photographs for reference is 0.62 inches in diameter. The cord fits easily through the clamp with room to spare as shown in the pics. Finally, as also shown in the photographs, the clamp secures tight to the cord. As shown in the pictures, the maximum clamp opening size is 0.94 inches, and the maximum ear size is 2.44 inches. The minimum clamp opening size is 0.41 inches, and the minimum ear size is 1.92 inches. A Whirlpool dryer cord opening measured 1.16 inches and this clamp worked fine as shown in the pics.
