Sabre Bayonet Brass Handle Dug *please read*Handle is 4 3/4" Long, 3 3/4" Tall, 1 1/4" at WidestHandle has "42" Stamped into the flat side ( this side has a lot of other marks that may be important but I cannot make them out)The Whole is 13/16" DiameterThe Blade is 19" Long ( tip is broken ) Definitely was dug from the looks of it - I have done quite a bit of relic hunting and this looks rightSomeone monkeyed with it, and tried some sort of epoxy or glue which did not hold but is still hardened onto it - I did not try to remove - I know sometimes a heat gun works for something like this but I did not want to damage so I left it as I got itsee photos
