Description: “DULUTH FISH DECOYS” HC DJ - Dave Perkins signed /numbered 100/300 DFD Click images to enlarge Description This auction is for a signed and numbered copy of the hard cover book “Duluth Fish Decoys” by Richard and Raymond Bonin.  Three Hundred copies were numbered and signed by the authors and Mr. Dave Perkins at the time of publishing.  This is number 100/300.  The book describes Mr Perkins background and traces through the evolution of his carving techniques from his early decoys before they were marked “DFD” through the time of publication in 2007.  The book includes many photographs that will help to identify early carvings, illustrations include examples that use tin from snuff cans for fins, spent cartridges for eyes, and leather for tails.  This will be very helpful for your collecting or will be a great gift for a collector friend.  It can be personalized from one of the authors to you or a friend if you wish.  Note: Mr. Perkins passed away in July of 2018.
