Description: Here we have a DUMORE Series 44 Tool Post Grinder. The Dumore Tool Post Grinder was born around 1920. I don't know how far back the Series 44 goes back, but I came across a Dumore Series 44 parts list from 1941, so this model has been around well over 75 years. This one is a Series 44-011 Model 8473-210 which is the newest model currently available at the Dumore website and sells for $2,630 new. This particular one is used, but looks like it was barely used. No signs of any dirt, dust, wear or scratches anywhere on the machine. It has all 5 pulleys, both collet chuck assemblies (1/8 & 1/4), and a small Wheel Arbor w/collars & nut, and 2 bushings for the larger wheels. A copy of the Manual is present and all 3 wrenches are included too. Lots of grinding and mounted wheels come with it. There is a dressing diamond mounted in a small piece of round stock, but the holder for it is not present. It comes with a plastic carrying case, but there is nothing inside that holds it in place. I turned it on and it purred like a kitten. The spindle spun perfectly smooth without even a hint of vibration. NONE. The last 2 pictures are right out of the Dumore catalog which matches the model no. on the machine. I will be sure to have everything securely in place for a safe arrival. You get everything you see in the pictures. As for shipping & insurance, I am charging $75. However, if it costs less, I will refund you the difference. If it costs more, I will make up the difference.
