Description: Original and vintage oil on burlap painting by Brazilian artist Durval Pereira (1917-1984); ‘Couple on the beach’. Signed lower right. The painting measures 30” width x 22” height and with the wood frame it measures 36” width x 28.5” height. Painting and frame are in excellent condition. The painting was purchased in Brazil approximately 50 years ago by the late Laszlo Bellak, the famed world table tennis champion and also my great uncle. He gave me the painting about 20 years ago and this listing represents the first time is has been made available for sale since its original acquisition by my family.
