Description: Beautiful copy of Dvorak’s String Quintet in G Major played by the Vienna Konzerthaus Quartet with Josef Hermann on Double Bass, and his sonata for violin and piano, and Romantic Pieces, played by violinist Peter Rybar and pianist Franz Holetschek, on Westminster XWN-18066. Pressed on the nicer vinyl that Westminster finally started using in the mid-50s, and so with a much clearer audiophile sound than their earlier shellac records. This is Westminster entering the world of Hi-Fi and it sounds just fantastic. Classic recordings that have been issued and reissued again and again, but here is the original 12” LP. And you will never see a better copy. The disc is very nearly perfectly mint and plays flawlessly and just beautifully, and the cover is likewise near pristine, with just a little red tape on the spine and maybe a tiny bit of age showing. Really this is a top, top copy, very hard to beat.
