Dwarf Bladderwort Utricularia Aquarium Micro-pest Killer

Description: This plant has been existing in my aquarium tanks for a year or two until recently I found their name online and separate them in different containers. Their characteristics and color looks like Utricularia gibba but not identified yet. They are classified as carnivorous plants. Many micro sized snapping bladders can be found on the leaves to trap and digest minute animals. That is why they are named Dwarf Bladderwort. They are said to be good controllers of micro pests in your aquarium. They can also be used by gourami or betta fish as bubble nest materials for spawning. My main usages are in providing the breeding grounds for the female guppies and hiding places for fish frys.They are considered as easy plants in my guppy only aquarium tank. They can even survive without food, added nutrients or fertilizers in a transparent plastic box for several months. They can adapt low to high light intensities.They are extremely small, no roots, hair-like and appear as short or long strands. So it is hard to count or measure. Quantity you will get is a small clumps plant cuttings loosely fit into a translucent micro plastic tube with lid as shown in the last three pictures or other small container available. This is more than enough for you to propagate them easily to reach a certain amount in just a few weeks.
