Description: RARE Vintage 3.25X5.5 photograph signed in blue fountain pen ink by E. Sylvia Pankhurst in the lower margin. In excellent condition. (1882-1960) Estelle Sylvia Pankhurst was an English campaigner for the suffrage and suffragette movement, a socialist and later a prominent left communist, and activist in the cause of anti-fascism and interlinguistics. She spent much of her later life campaigning on behalf of Ethiopia, where she eventually settled. This lot came from the Jim Wiggins collection we purchased in July 2022. Jim Wiggins accumulated the most unique and valuable autograph collection over a period of 70 plus years. He obtained his collection either in person or by writing to person of fame and notoriety.
