Description: Offered for your consideration is a clear glass water pitcher made by Bryce Brothers (1882-1891) in their pattern number 88. This pattern features a plain design with a row of beads along upper rim, and was introduced in the early to mid 1880s. The pitcher measures 9 inches (22.9 cm) tall, 5.25 inches (13.3 cm) wide, and 7.5 inches (19.1 cm) from end of spout to outer edge of handle. Pitcher is in very used condition with no cracks, chips, roughness, nor repairs. There are a few short but deep vertical scratches or cuts in a small area on front of pitcher, and a shallow cut or chip on edge of spout. See photos. The glass is bright and clear with no cloudiness, discoloration, nor lime scale present. There may be bubbles, a shear (straw) mark, and other minor imperfections within the glass due to the manufacturing process used at the time. Pitcher will be shipped from a smoke-free home and will be packed securely for shipping. Good luck and thank you for your interest.
