Description: EAPG ANTIQUE "FESTOON" BEATTY-BRADY GLASS CO.PEDESTAL CAKE STAND. A beautiful pedestal cake plate/stand made by Beatty-Brady Glass Co. In the gorgeous Festoon Pattern. Circa. 1898. There are no known reproductions of this pattern. This pattern and information can be found in EAPG Book 2nd Edition:Jenks & Reilly page 187-188. It is very beautiful and very breathtaking! It has a delicate and gorgeous raised beaded and square pattern with a gorgeous star and fan pattern surrounding the whole salver, with a gorgeous raised beaded pattern scalloped edging. There is a light purple cast to the stand. It measures 6.25" inches tall, 9" top diameter. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or any repairs. Please see pictures. It has straw marks & air bubbles that are normal for old glass. On the bottom rim of the inside of the base, there are some scalloped chips, bu I believe this was done in the manufacturing.
