Description: Offered for your consideration is a lovely clear glass open jelly compote made by the National Glass Company (McKee and Bros. Works) (1899-1904) in their number 102 "Eureka" pattern. Also known as "National's Eureka", this pattern was introduced circa 1901. The compote measures 4.5 inches (11.4 cm) in diameter and is 4.5 inches (11.4 cm) tall. This small compote is in excellent used condition with no cracks, chips, noticeable scratches, roughness, nor repairs. Jelly compote may have very faint surface scratches, minor wear, or other indications of use. The glass is bright and clear with no cloudiness, discoloration, nor lime scale present. See photos. There may be bubbles, a shear (straw) mark, and additional minor imperfections within the glass due to the manufacturing process used at the time.
