The lamp is powered by oil and the production style was pressed glass. The EAPG Gillinder & Sons Defender model is highly sought after and this blue color is hard to find. (It is NOT the same color as the one in sold results that is more turquoise) It has the original burner pieces to this lamp including the little clear glass hurricane shade. No shiny/new repro 'burner kit' on THIS original!!! It is a great addition to any collection.
