Description: ANTIQUE LARGE CRYSTAL IMPERIAL GLASS ZIPPERED HEART VASE Made between 1904 and 1909, this EAPG (Early American Pattern Glass) was one of Imperial Glass's first patterns! It was called Nearcut or Nucut and was the less expensive answer to the Brilliant Cut Glass so popular around the turn of the century. Zipper Heart is an intricate pattern consisting of side by side hobstars framed by heart shaped clear swirls and a zipper cut top with beautiful insets and a scalloped base. It was made in quite a few pieces, and the Vase alone was made in several sizes. This is the 5 inch size, and in very Good to Excellent condition, with no cracks or chips or cloudiness! Please refer to the photos as they are part of the description. 38
