Description: Early American Pattern Glass, Salt & Pepper Set on Holder, Daisy & Button Slender, Blue, Amber, Clear Holder, Shakers 2 5/8" T, holder 6"T 2" Wide. c 1875-1885. Produced ca 1875-1885. No signature or label. Our reference for this set is Lechner's "World of Salt Shakers" volume 2 page 220. Lids are cracked and worn. Bottom roughness on shakers. Overall condition - very good (see 3 below) - no cracks, or cloudiness. 1.) Mint- Like New or New; 2.) Excellent- Used but near new with very minor wear, if any (small scratches or abrasions which are not very noticeable) 3.) Very Good- Used shows wear (scratches and/or abrasions) consistent with age of item; 4.) Fair - Shows considerable wear (many scratches or abrasions) and/or chips and/or cloudiness; 5.) Poor- Considerable wear and/or minor to severe damage
