Description: Available for sale is a vibrantly colored blue & white true spatter spatterware plate. The central area is decorated with a slightly darker cobalt blue giving the appearance of a circular target. The 12-sided plate measures 3/4" in height, 6 1/4" in diameter, and dates from 1835 - 1865. It is in excellent condition with no nicks, damage or repair. Certainly, a classic example of early true spatterware, a great decorative plate!
