Definitely has some age and is an excellent quality pin. I've seen a lot with ribbons attached and things. So I really have no idea where what this one may be missing or where it may be from. I have heard it could be Civil War related. Maybe to the GAR group, some kind of 50 yr celebration thing? I have no idea. Item you're purchasing is the item in the pictures.
