Description: Early 19th century blown with polished pontil, 9.75 inch tall quart pitcher or jug. Likely made in South Jersey or Pittsburgh, this entirely hand blown piece boasts square prunting and crimp work to the handle that is reminiscent of rigaree. Blown circa 1840, this jug is in nearly excellent condition, but for an 1/8 inch shallow scallop flake to the underside of the spout rim. An impressive piece of early American blown glass, buyer to pay 5 pounds priority shipping within the US or priority international.
