Early Hiram Powers The Greek Slave Parian Marble Sculpture Late 1800's

Description: Recent rare find from an Estate sale. Victorian era Early reproduction of Hiram Powers' The Greek Slave. About 2 feet high this is a weighty piece. I believe it's marble rather than marble dust because of crystalline veins running through it. The base may have at one time have been repaired. There are no cracks or missing pieces and it is very appealing .A lovely early reproduction of one of America's most famous sculptures. See pics for details and ask questions if in doubt I don't know if it is alabaster or marble. Note: This is the lowest price point that I will go. Upon relisting I will put the price up again. I can easily see this piece going for triple the price at an antique store and soon the asking price will reflect that. So here's your chance. Shipping is an estimate and includes tracking and insurance if desired. If significantly lower to ship I will refund the difference.
