Description: This DVD has Seven early Universal Shorts starring Eddie Lyons and Lee Moran with Harry Nolan, Marie Tempest, Juanita Hansen, Priscilla Dean, Mildred Moore, Grace Marin, Victoria Forde and Edith Roberts. Lyons and Moran made over 300 silent comedies for Universal with a variety of female co-stars. Victoria Forde (the future Mrs. Tom Mix) and Edith Roberts made the most with them but others included Priscilla Dean, Betty Compson, and Ramona Langley.Included in this set is Mrs. Plum's Pudding, the only feature length film directed by Al Christie; and four shorts Waiting At The Church, Lizzy's Dizzy Career, Knights of a Bathtub, and Taking Things Easy.Mrs. Plum's Pudding: Eddie and his mother, Marie Tempest, finally discover oil on their property and have to deal with crooks, con men (and women) to keep their new fortune. - Marie Tempest was an internationally famous stage actress and this is the only silent film she starred in.Waiting At The Church: Eddie is about to be married but has forgotten one important item. He and Lee race off to get itLizzy's Dizzy Career: Lizzy leaves her hometown for a career on the Stage and Eddie goes after herKnights of a Bathtub: Eddie comes home from college and his father makes him a partner in his plumbing business. Lee has to teach Eddie the ropes from the ground up. Taking Things Easy: Eddie heads to the city to elope but is arrested as a thief while Bunco Bert (Lee) takes advantage of the situation.
