Description: BRASS 5 GALLON OIL TRANSFER CAN - Ca 1870 used for Fire Bucket by removing the top, a common practice by the Lighthouse Service. This rare oil can bears the origional USLHE stamps and is in as-found, un-restored condition. Will polish up very nicely and does not leak a drop. We have used it next to our IOV Burner display and kept water in it, just as it was originally used. Very useful in the event of fire!
