In this position the unit is on when it senses a 12 volt signal from another device plugged into the TRIGGER input. The unit is off when that other device turns that 12 volt signal off. It will not cycle on or off based on an input signal to the RCA plug, it is on or off based on that trigger signal. If you have it in this mode and turn it on with the button on front, it will turn off by itself in 30 to 180 seconds if it does not sense 12 volts at the trigger input.-In the AUTO mode it can be turned on by an input signal at the RCA jack or by the front power button. The unit will stay on until it senses 20 - 30 minutes of no signal at the RCA jack. If you mute your source for 20 minutes or there is no signal from that source to the 700DSP (ie. When this is being used in the sub position in an A/V set up) for 20 minutes, the amp will turn off. When a signal is sensed again, it will turn on automatically.-The unit has a DSP output you can run to multiple amps. This will allow you to program only one (the first) 700DSP and it will output the corrected signal not only to it’s internal amplifier but also to the output RCA plugs labeled DSPOUT. This way all amplifiers connected to this output will amplify the corrected signal from the DSP program of the first 700DSP. If you have not run the DSP program yet, there will be no signal at the output of the DSPOUT jacks.-There is a switch on the back of the unit labeled DSP. It can be set in ON or OFF. In the OFF mode the unit works as an amplifier with no DSP correction to the signal, even if you have run the DSP program. With this switch in the ON position, it will incorporate the DSP correction. YOU MUST RUN THE DSP PROGRAM IMMEDIATELY, THERE WILL BE NO OUTPUT FROM THE AMPLIFIER IN THIS MODE IF YOU HAVE NOT RUN THE DSP PROGRAM.The DSP room correction program can only be done with the iWoofer PRO app. It costs $5. I believe the free version of iWoofer allows manual corrections and adjustments only.
