The manual here for sale is an original, antiquarian piece of history, of academic and historical interest and significance, outlining Edison Lamp Works / GE company standard policies and procedures in the years 1924 and 1925, respecting manufacturing, employment, logistical, financial, technical and administrative matters. It is in "very good+" condition and quite serviceable, with care, as a primary source for academic and professional reference & research, as well as an historical artifact in itself. Boards are straight and sound, with embossed titles in dulled gilt or bronze to front cover being considerably rubbed but present and legible. Manner of binding is uncertain, though appears to be a method that permits regular removal and replacement of individual leaves. Nevertheless, binding is sound and tight. Leaves within are brittle with age, but all are present so far as can be discerned, and all are complete and legible, undamaged with respect to text and information therein, as much as can be determined. Leaves are comprised of a series of numbered ELW / GE company "Routine Instruction" forms, text thereon being typewriter-typed a/o handwritten in pencil or ink.
