Description: Einstein: His Life & Times, Philipp Frank, 1953, Knopf, 4th printing. - title first published in 1947.- size 6.5 x 9.5 inches approx.; 370 pages including Index.- 8 pages of illustrations. - Internet Review: "Much has been written about Albert Einstein, technical and biographical, but very little as valuable as this unique hybrid of a book written by Einstein's colleague and contemporary. Both rich in personal insights and grounded in a deep knowledge of twentieth-century science, Phillip Frank's biography anchors the reader with a lucid overview of physics and draws an intimate portrait of the Nobel Prize-winner." Condition:Good+ Condition for this book on Einstein and his times. Book cover shows minor edge and corner-wear, plus general age-darkening of red, including spine which has barely legible lettering. Metal corners. Internal strengthening of both spine ends. No owner name inside...blank bookplate inside front cover. No age-tanning to paper. Hinges/binding are tight/strong. Pasadena impress stamp (no ink) on title page...difficult to see. Interior is all clean...no marks, stains, tears or creases. Tanned rectangle inside back cover, probably where news clipping was held.
