Hand crafted in 2009 by the artisans at Eldreth Pottery, Santa’s happily looking forward to distributing gifts to kids of all ages. Gray and cobalt blue with a hand painted salt glaze finish. Measurements: 8.5” tall, 4” wide. Signed by the artist SW and dated 2000. Great condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. There is a bit of crazing. And a few blemishes on Santa’s right side (photo 4) which are due to some discoloration in the clay which became more visible during the firing process. Eldreth Pottery closed its operations in 2017. Its high-quality salt glazed and redware pottery are some of best examples of American pottery. All are collectible and highly sought after. This Santa Claus will be packaged carefully and shipped quickly from a smoke-free environment.
