AN AMERICAN TREASURE AN AMERICAN TREASURE ELEANOR ROOSEVELT IN HER GOWN FOR THE INAUGURAL BALL Folks, it is my honor to present to you Eleanor Roosevelt in a cover photo entitled “In Her Gown For The Inaugural Ball.” She is wearing a Silver Blue Lame Creation by Sally Milgrim designed for either afternoon or evening wear, since is a “Tranformation” with detachable sleeves. Humbly, I am trying to keep history alive. Following my retirement, I have dedicated my remaining hours to indexing the Genealogy of our ancestors. During my research, I discovered that hundreds of our kinfolk lay unfound and unrecognized on some book dealer’s shelf gathering dust. There were many pictorials published – the common ones are listed on Ebay every day but the rarer ones like this one covering one of the most legends woman of our time never make it. They are hard to find. Collectors treasure them. I hunt them out cause really the better, untold and rarer stories were published in the rest. Here’s one of the best. Folks, sooner or later - Genealogists are going to realize that their family kinfolks are laying on some dealer's dusty shelves. If I can contribute to finding one little name or photo of that long lost ancestor you have been waiting to find, it’s worth all the time I spend. It’s a shame that our past is being lost. It’s as simple as that. My wife kids me that after I find a piece I like, buy it, read it, research it, take a picture, scan it, write the blurb, pay the Ebay entry fee and commission, that I end up making about 50 cents an hour. But, OH HOW I LOVE THIS OLD HISTORY. What a Rare Item!!! Great Pictures. You will love it as it was saved from this old American pictorial magazine of many years ago. This cover page is (11 by 15 inches) and the ORIGINAL 78-YEAR-OLD piece in excellent condition. As clearly stated in my description, this is featured story saved from a rarely found and seldom read American pictorial magazine. I don't give out name of publication or date because I have caught competitors copying my index and work and trying to sell it as theirs. I hope you understand.
