The bodice is decorated with inserts of black silk and trimmed with black velvet. The front of the bodice has a spray of blue and white flowers. The waist is trimmed with black silk and the skirt has a black silk swag and bows. The dress is fully lined with black silk and has a back hook and eye closure. The gown is in very good condition. There is no holes on the back of the bodice just from the camera flash. The skirt has 4 tiny holes and a two inch catch in the fabric. The flaws do not show when displayed. The lining has some splitting on the back waist area. The black paper fan has carved floral sides and is decorated with a black silk tassel. It is in very good condition.
