Description: Elegant biscuit cracker jar has the Mapleleaf Hand Painted Nippon green stamp which dates from 1890 to 1911 and was made by Nippon in Japan. The biscuit jar features gold edge around rim, neck of barrel and around base. It has scattered Multicolor leafs to add color in a classic and pretty design. It has a nice Victorian style design.Condition is very good for this porcelain antique. The lid and gold edges shows wear with fading colors. The flared scalloped rim of jar or barrel shows color wear on edges. Body of barrel is very good, It does have a really small nick inside on bottom, no chip, cracks or hairlines, and pictures show vibrant colors and gold gilt intact.See pictures to see the small nick inside.Measures about 5" high with lid, about 9" wide at widest section.
