Additionally, the material is also a major upgrade over the standard pad. The pad is made from Modal Cotton (which is a blend of polyester and spandex)(no actual cotton is involved), and feels like incredibly soft, almost silky, microfiber, and is both soft to the touch, as well as breathable. The next big improvement is that one pad covers the entire bed (if you choose), and only requires one Chilipad/Ooler/Aquabed cube to operate. So you can cool or heat your entire bed with just one cube. Of course, if you prefer, you can get two twin size Elite pads and retain the dual cooling/heating option.
