Ewing autographed the reverse in pencil adding age, height and weight data. This image shows Ella Ewing and her parents in the 1800s. She was born in 1872 and died in 1913 in Missouri. She toured for a brief time as a freak with Ringling Bros circus. Size of CDV is 4½ x 7 inches. This very rare original cabinet card photograph of the sideshow performer has sharp focus with strong contrast and rich, warm tonality Photograph and card mount is generally clean and crisp and is exceptionally preserved. Of course the watermarks "screengems" and "ebay" do not appear on the actual signed photo. Excellent condition with beautiful clarity, detail, and contrast.
