When first released in 1960, this Christmas album was groundbreaking as most collections of songs were usually popular songs mixed with carols and other songs with a religious air. Her selections on this album celebrate the season rather than Christianity. It has influenced so many Christmas albums since then. This issue has been pressed on 180g gold coloured vinyl. An excellent addition to any Ella Fitzgerald collection. Photos are of the actual item.Grading is by visual inspection only. I never rate anything as mint, that is just the way I look at things as there might be a slight imperfection I cannot see. Near mint is the highest I grade. I do my best to package everything as best I can. Unfortunately small things may happen in shipping like minor bumps to the sleeve or cracks in the case.
