DESCRIPTION - The books are bound with leather spines, and with marbled page edges.......These are large books, each book measures about 11 1/2 inches high, and 9 1/2 inches across front.......... CONDITION - The books are in good used condition......The pages are good for age, toned, with spots here and there, and with what I would call a fairly light old book smell...Most of the pages do not have spots, and the pages with the most spots tend to be the pages with illustrations......And the top and front page edges are darkened and dulled.......The covers have general wear and use.....The hinges are overall good, with about half of the front hinge on one book torn...And on one book, the front hinge has about a three tear at the top, and another three inch tear at the bottom......Even with the flaws, this is still a purty good ol' set - but do handle it with care..............I think you will be pleased with it......
