Description: An English Sheffield silver plated, bowl with fluted, footed base. Featuring a decorative embossed design to the body. This would make a fabulous champagne cooler, or fill it with holly or roses for your holiday centerpiece. Believed to be dated around 1910, but I am not an expert and this is based on my research, so you be the judge, please.. Great condition though in need of a polish. I've stopped polishing silver and silverplate I intend to sell because some buyers want the aged patina and I'm not a polishing expert for silverplate. Lent this to a friend for the evening to put fruit in as she was having a Downton Abbey party. It measures 6"H and 8" in diameter. Some light scratching. Please ask any questions and I will answer promptly. I am not an antiques expert, but will do my best to provide good answers based on my research and inspection of item; Please look at photos closely as they are part of the description.
