Description: This sterling silver quaich is 5 1/2" long from handle to handle with a bowl diameter of 3 1/2" and a height of 1 1/2". It weighs 126 grams. Though the quaich is a traditional Scottish drinking or toasting vessel, this particular one was made by an English silversmith as witnessed by it's hallmarks. This quaich has the Edinburgh coat of arms, in silver and enamel, applied to it's side. On the bottom, it is stamped for English sterling, London, 1946 and the maker WW, who I couldn't identify.
