Arte Cubano Santiago Luis Ferrer (Kender): With a marked abstractionist vocation, Santiago Luis Ferrer, Kender (Havana, August 1965), plays with colors and lines to print a unique stamp. Oriented his pictorial preference since childhood, mainly in the primary language of colors and the mixture of materials, he went from his initial stage, totally empirical, to a staggered training, from basic teachings and workshops, the Elementary School of Plastic Arts, to graduate from the prestigious San Alejandro National Academy of Fine Arts. From 1990 to date, this artist has to his credit: 14 personal exhibitions in Cuba, Italy, Holland and Spain; and fifty group exhibitions, the majority in Italy and Cuba, in addition to Switzerland, Luxembourg, Argentina, Spain and England.
