Description: The Island of Adventure by Enid Blyton. This is an original hard back, 1st edition, 4th print with it's original dust jacket from 1950. I have a few really interesting and rare Enid Blyton books for sale - please check my other listings. The Island of Adventure was the first of the Adventure books. I'll try and describe The Island of Adventure as thoroughly as possible - please study the photos and the video as they're the best way of seeing the condition of this book. Dust Jacket:The dust jacket is in good shape; It has been price clipped. There are a few discreet closed tears along the edges and some small creases to the edges. The print is lovely and bright still. It's a lovely example for a book of this age (especially a children's book). Boards:The boards are excellent, bright and clean. It has the book sellers sticker on the front inner board 'Lawrences of Hinckley. Pages:There's foxing on the page edges but the inner pages are in good condition. I've taken a video for you to see the inner pages - it seems like the best way for you to see the actual condition of the book in a clearer way but if you need any further images or information please let me know.
