Description: This is an “Erie“ Griswold cast iron skillet number 10 716 a with an outside heating ring. This is a series3 (1890-1905). this item is considered the workhorse of the Griswold line at the time. It has some minor imperfections due to use and age, but has been refurbished and ready to use. It was soaked in a lye bath and then in a vinegar bath. It was then coded with grapeseed oil and oven seasoned at 425 Degrees for two hours. No power tools were used in the cleanup just a lot of elbow grease. The skillet rings true and lies flat.
