Description: If you are looking at this listing you already know what this amp can do. This amp was part of a home theater system and was never used more than 30% of its volume. Moved to a new house and set up a new system. This was bought new by my father in law years ago. He had it in his family room theater for years. This amp I can honesty say was never used to anywhere near half of its capacity in its lifetime (I believe the master volume was set to somewhere around 30%) . They moved a few years ago and left a lot of the theater components with us, this amp being one of them, because he set up a whole new system in his new house. I also still have the Marantz tuner with extra cooling fans and the sub-woofer that is also still stored. He did have this serviced at one point. He took it to an authorized tech for the service. I know because I had to disconnect this, carry it to and from the service shop and then hook it back up to his system. IT IS NOT LIGHT! I believe its 130lbs. So I have had it in in my house since they moved, covered and stored. So technically not the original owner but still in the owner's family. I've included a picture of the setup from his house.
