The use of that very strong material allowed us to dig into the alloy in order to make it as light as possible. With only 218g, it is today the lightest scooter fork on earth. Merrow integrates steel spacers for a more durable rolling, and a headset ring to make it easier to mount on decks with integrated headsets.
