Description: This is a rare April 20th, 1942 program (playbill) from the two-week, Post-Broadway engagement of the SIGMUND ROMBERG and DOROTHY DONNELLY musical play "BLOSSOM TIME" at the Shubert Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts. (The Original Broadway production opened September 29th, 1921 at New York's Ambassador Theatre and ran for 516 performances. This revival opened December 26th, 1938 at the Forty-Sixth Street Theatre in New York City and ran for only 19 performances before mounting an ambitious tour.) ..... Using the melodies of FRANZ SCHUBERT, the musical starred EVERETT MARSHALL as "Franz Schubert" and featured AGNES CASSIDY as "Mitzi".
