Description: Maker: This beautiful finely painted porcelain creamer is by the renowned Japanese maker Morimura Nippon, precursor to the equally renowned Noritake. Design: Nippon is justifiably famous for its high quality and this fluted creamer is no exception: it is classically designed, rich in detail and superbly crafted, featuring beautifully painted pink primroses against a pure white porcelain background. It is trimmed with a matte brown band that features a raised green geometric design and raised white dots. Tiny raised green dots outline the handle. Age: The blue rising sun mark on the base came into use in 1911, making that the earliest this creamer could have been produced. Condition: The creamer is in excellent condition with no chips, nicks, scratches, marks, repairs, crazing or discoloration, nothing more than minor wear to the band and a tiny dark embedded dot just under the spout. It was created in the manufacturing process. Size: The creamer is 3 1/8 inches wide, measured between the tip of the spout and the far end of the handle. The opening is 1 1/2 inches wide. The creamer is 3 1/8 inches tall, measured from the tip of the spout. Please check all the photos very carefully – they are an important part of the description.
