Description: Offered here is a very well executed antique needlepoint with petit point details, ca. 1880s. It has been made into a feather filled pillow cover which now measures 36" x 19". The measurement of the needlepoint itself is 32" x 12". The needlepoint is framed by a small gold braided cord and then inserted into a heavy woven Calico Corners toile fabric. All is then trimmed out with an high end gold, black and cream tassel trim. It is filled with a soft, fluffy down and feather pillow. This pillow is very clean. Please observe the photos. There is one which shows me pointing at the ONLY areas where some tiny stitches are missing. I think that they never were applied, but I may be wrong about that.
