French Louis XV Gilded Living Room, Parlor Set DESCRIPTION Absolutely gorgeous French Louis XV style living room, parlor set, c. 19th, including one long sofa and two side chairs, an armchair which is considered the man's chair and an armless smaller side chair which is considered the woman's chair. The sofa features an exceptional gilded carved frame, with supple arms adorned with carved acanthus leaves, and a padded back and seat, raised on cabriole legs. The larger armchair and the smaller side chair share a similar design and look with the sofa. This is a great quality set in very good condition. It is decorative, sturdy, comfortable, and simply grand. Please see pictures for more details.
