Description: Here is an extremely rare hand-made galvanized tin metal can / bucket dispenser that has a hinged lid that covers a retractable delivery spout and has a hand pump with wooden knob. There is a filler cap that unscrews easily and the pump was tested and works fine. Possibly used on the railroad or even railway shop made, but it is perfect and functional. There are no markings or dates of any kind and it is factory painted with grey paint. It has a bail handle with wood for easy carrying. No rust holes and shows only light wear and scuffs. I have searched for about 5 years and have not found another one of these. It is 16” tall overall and 12” wide. Don’t know it it was a patent model, used on the railroad to fill lamps and lanterns or used in a general store, but it’s the only one I’ve ever seen. I’m sure it would make a great addition to any gas & oil station collection or display with your favorite barn , ship , railroad lanterns! Please watch the video and thanks for checking it out. Lots of people use the word “RARE” and it doesn’t mean much today, but this one deserves the term. I guarantee that you will be the only on your block to have one….lol Price is just a starting point and open to offers of value. Please see all photos to judge the condition for yourself. Additional photos upon request. Shipping to United States addresses only. Easy International shipping is through eBay’s global shipping program. Thanks for looking!
