Contains all qualities usually found in three or more boats. Made of plywood and is ideally adapted to open or smooth waters. It is seaworthy, stable, and widely adaptable. Buddy is 13 feet long with a 4 foot 8 inch beam. The depth is 20 inches; weight is 130 pounds and has seating capacity for 4 passengers. ¼” plywood over sawed frames, semi-vee-bottom, multi-purpose. If you want to build a boat to meet the greatest possible variety of purposes you just found it. Can’t Sink: Sturdy, lightweight dinghy for fishing, or for load or passenger carrying. Its length is 9 ½ feet with a beam of 47 inches. Finished weight is 85 pounds and has a capacity of 3 adults. Construction is Fiberglass hull over wooden framework. A great tough boat. For safety’s sake, air chambers built into each seat make this boat unsinkable. CAR TOP BOAT: If you’re a lake fisherman who likes frequent changes of scenery, this lightweight car-top boat will permit you to drop a line in any body of water. About 8 foot long, semi- V bottom construction. Full bill of material list provided. CHESSY: A strongly built 15 foot, 44 inch wide Chesapeake skiff which may be easily rowed or driven by a outboard motor. Chessy is roomy and rugged. CORK: Cork is a cartop rowboat for lakes and streams along with protected saltwater fishing. Cork is ideal for portaging into off-road lakes due to light overall weight. V-bottom, frameless, double-ended. (9 feet long and 47 inches wide. The depth is 15 ½” at center, weight is only 52 pounds and will seat three adults. This is a rowboat not adapted to outboard motors. Construction is plywood attached to framing, chines and keelson between identical scow-type transoms constructed out of plywood. DOLLY VARDEN: This is an open utility outboard boat for fishing and general use on lakes and rivers with a variety of outboard engines. Its length is either 13 or 15 foot 6 inches. The beam is 50 inches with a depth of 20 ½ inches amidship. Finished weight is about 175 pounds with a seating capacity of 4 persons. Construction is planking and bent frames, round bottom. FLYING FISHERMAN: A fast, outboard utility, 11 ½ feet overall, with an easily- driven hull, planked with plywood or thin cedar. The versatile hull is soft-riding, turns on a proverbial dime and because of its size and lightweight will ride on top of you car. Fun plan. HANDY ANDY: A 10 foot folding boat designed as a portable boat for camper, hunter, fisherman, and outdoor man who wishes a boat for use anywhere but without the bulkiness of the average rigid one piece craft, it folds to a compact flat bundle that may be stowed aboard any boat. Plywood construction makes it easy and strong. Boat is 10 feet long, 42 inch beam, depth 15 inches, weight 80 pounds, seats 3 passengers, and flat bottom, canvas bound edges. HUNTING KAYAK: This kayak has a shallow draft allowing you to get back into waterways away from noisy motorboats. It will seat two people. Two place, flat bottom kayak for hunting, fishing and general sports use on protected waters of small lake or river. The length is 18 feet long with a 40-inch beam. The boat has 11-inch sides. Used for hunting, fishing and general utility car top boat. The finished length is 12 feet with a 5-foot beam. Finished the boat weights 110 pounds, and has seating capacity for 3 to 5 adults. The construction is plywood over wooden frame. A 1 to 6 hp motor can also power this boat. JOLLY ROGER: a 8-foot long fishing boat for big and small adventurers. It is easily built with a flat bottom design. This boat will make an excellent yacht dinghy for anyone. Great little boat. JUNIOR: This type of boat is usually known as a yacht dinghy. Rows quite easily, carries three and even four adults, propels well with small outboard motors, and could even be sailed. Junior makes an excellent car top boat for fishing or hunting anywhere. About 102 inches long and 50 inches wide. KINGFISHER: The most capacity in the shortest length possible. Adapted to carrying atop autos, as a yacht dinghy, or general purposes. Short lightweight boat for use on sheltered or open waters for rowing, sailing, or propelling with outboard motor from1 to 6 hp. The boat is 9 feet long with a 4-foot wide beam. The depth is 17 inches, weight 100 pounds complete, seating capacity 3 persons, construction is plywood covering over frames. Semi-Vee bottom, scow type bow. Rows easily, sails well, and propels nicely with small outboard motors, for casting or still fishing this boat does it all. PINTAIL Lightweight Duck Boat: This boat is lightweight for easy carrying atop your car. As a duck boat, Pintail is small and able, leak proof, light enough in weight (60 lbs.) to be handled by one man, and versatile enough to serve as a year-round fun boat for both children and adults. General Construction is a convex bottom for extreme strength with plywood covering. The bottom can be applied in one piece. This boat can be built in 1 Week so think of this as a quick project that will give you years of fun on the water. A complete bill of material is included in the 4-page set of plans outlining everything you will need to get your project completed. This boat is an easy, fast, and fun project. POD: This beautiful 15 feet rowing dory eases through the water, lets a fisherman sneak up on those big ones. For the person who likes a bit of exercise and appreciates the simplicity and silence of a well-designed rowboat. The narrow bottom is tapered at both ends which enable her to slice through the water with a minimum of effort and flaring sides make her safe and dry in a chop. Three pieces of plywood make up the sides and bottom and no frames are required. This design makes boat building about as simple as it ever gets. For those who feel better with conventional framing, optional frames are included in the drawings. Great first boat to build. RS DORY: Rower or Sailed you can do both with the RS Dory. A real sweet rower and easy to build. A great utility boat or as a silent sneak-up fishing skiff. This boat easily darts along with light pulls on the oars. If you want to sail I think something like a 45 to 65 sq. foot area would do the job. Should be a great little boat. About 130 inches long and 50 inches wide. SEA SKIFF: Designed for the man who likes to fish, this sturdy craft can be rowed, powered by an outboard or by an inboard, or driven by the wind. Seaworthy craft for use on any waters anywhere. The Sea Skiff is 13 feet 9 inches long, beam 60 inches, capacity is 5 passengers, powered by oars, outboard, air-cooled inboard or sail. Super boat – what fun and it can by powered by a small inboard air-cooled motor covered in the plans. SNEAK BOX: This is a general-purpose duck boat for hunting and fishing. The design was derived from the original Barnegat Bay Sneak Box models about 150 years ago. It length is 12 feet, the beam is 3 feet 10 inches, with a total weight of about 105 pounds. The seating capacity is 2 persons and the typical motor used on this boat would range from a 1hp and up. The construction method of utilizing plywood, makes a light weight craft with a minimum of framing. The Sneak Box is easy to transport on top of a car. Clear unobstructed space is afforded inside the cockpit. Some additional uses are the three runners on the bottom of the hull could be modified to use steel strips enabling the Sneak Box to be transported over snow or ice as a sled. The complete boat weights about 200 pounds and has seating capacity for 5 people. The construction is planking over frames. This boat has a flat bottom with a pointed bow. A complete bill of material is included in the 4 page set of plans outlining everything you will need to get your project completed. The White Duck is inexpensive and simple to build. 2 GUN CABINETS- Constructed from the wood of your choice to match what you have or start a trend. The gun cabinet is 83 ½” high x 32 ½” wide x 18 /4” deep. A great project for any woodworker and wood boat builder. The second gun cabinet is 42 ½” x 14 ¾” x 6 foot 4 ½ “ another great project.
