Fabulous 1952 Singer Featherweight with Case and Accessories

Description: Stunning and Clean 1952 Singer Featherweight 221 With Great Decals May I present Anastasia. She was born December 12, 1952 (Serial number AL171409). Anastasia is beautiful, runs smooth and would make a great sewing buddy for someone. She loves to travel to and from classes and is one of the cleanest featherweights I have seen from top to bottom. (see pictures) Anastasia is 72 years old and still works great. Overall, she is in amazing condition. Her bed is in excellent shape for her age. The finish on Anastasia is in extremely good condition with a bright shine and only a few light scratches. The decorative border around her base is in spectacular condition (Please look at pictures). Anastasia has been cleaned, serviced, polished and tested. Her belt (super belt), light (LED), felt pad, protective silicon button, bed cushions and red spool pin cover are all new. Anastasia has had the motor pulley removed to check for thread, the rotary hook assembly and balanced wheel have also been checked for any thread. Anastasia's foot pedal has been inspected, cleaned and new cushion put on. A new electrical cord has been put on Anastasia's foot pedal. Her bobbin case has been set to 23g. A new needle Schmetz microtex need has been put in Anastasia. I have included a sample stitch that was done on Anastasia before I listed her. Anastasia's house (the case) is in wonderful condition as it is brand new. Inside the case is the side tray and both latches work Anastasia comes with a huge number of items: a pristine reproduction owner’s manual, 3 bobbins, an original bobbin case, an original pressor foot, a ruffler, a narrow hemmer, a bias binder, an adjustable hemmer, a quilting foot, an edge stitcher, a gathering foot(AKA shirring foot), a magnetic seam guide, a measuring gauge, 20 micro cleaning brushes, thread snipers, a vintage tube of Singer grease ( I would not use it as it is over 60 years old) and a featherweight charm/zipper pull. The featherweight comes with everything seen in the photos. Please see pictures. The shipping box is approximately 21 x 14 x 13 inches and weighs 22 pounds. When I ship, I wrap the featherweight, any attachment box and foot pedal in packing cellophane then put bubble wrap inside the case. I then wrapped the case in cellophane. This way there is less chance of the finish being marred during shipping. I put inflatable air tubes around the case to cushion the featherweight while it is shipped. I take the spool pin cover off and put a piece of cardboard to cover the opening. I wrap the spool pin cover in cellophane and bubble wrap. I then put the spool pin cover in the case. This way there is less chance of it breaking during shipping. I write this so you have an idea of how I ship so you do not worry about the featherweight while it is coming to you.
