Description: Offered ........A beautiful, sentimental vintage heirloom Victorian 14k solid rose gold pin pendant with tubular hair inlay c1860's. The piece is unmarked, but has been professionally tested and is guaranteed to be at least 14K gold all the way through. It is a remembrance piece with woven tubular human hair inlaid under the protective gold mounting. This was worn to honor and remember a loved one, but likely was not a mourning piece, as it has no black trim. The pin is longer than the piece is wide and is held by a simple "c" clasp. There is a fixed bale so the piece can be worn as a pendant on a chain. The pin pendant is about 1 1/8 inches in diameter. It weighs about 5.7 grams. The necklace is in very good pre-owned condition. There is relatively minor damage to the hair in a few places, but nothing glaring. Very common in a piece that is over 150 years old. Please see the detailed photos.
