Description: Offered here is this Fabulous Vintage Solid Wood Spindle Back Armchair. It has some writing stenciled on the back rest at the top, however, I cannot make out the letters. The chair is in good condition, however, I believe that it is quite old as it has a lot of dings and small nicks and scratches in the wood. One of the spindles on the left armrest has begun to split and has been repaired with a metal clamp. The chair is finished in a pale yellow paint that is quite warn, particularly at the top of the arms. I am unsure of its exact age or origins of the chair, however, I believe that it was once a child's chair. It is a full-size side arm chair however. It measures 33" tall at the top back rest, 34" tall at the top of the side supports of the back rest, 16" tall at the seat, 18" wide at the seat, 19.5" wide across the armrests, 16.5" across inside the armrests, 16.5" deep at the seat, 18.5" deep total. It is a nice vintage chair in solid condition and would be a great fixer or refinish project. This is a great vintage armchair that would be a nice fixing up project for someone. It could be refinished to be very beautiful.
