Description: This is an original photo entitled, “Phoebe III.” A third edition of a series of cyanotype photographs on archival paper produced by South African artist Faith XLVII. In the image attachment, you can see a screenshot of an e-mail chat I had with the artist’s Studio Manager as proof of authenticity of the artwork. You can see on the red box I drew on the screenshot that I had purchased the damaged photograph. You can clearly see that the Studio Manager mentions that a partial tear on the top of the image was a pre-existing damage associated with the artwork. Therefore, this artwork has been preserved and is in mint condition since the damage in question has existed long before it was ever shipped to me. I am the first owner of this piece besides the artist herself. You can see her signature on the bottom left corner of the cyanotype photograph.
