Description: Highly collectable first edition, first printing. Published by Hodder and Stoughton in 1951. Very nice illustrations by Eileen Soper. Reasonable overall condition, without dustjacket. Grey boards have a little browning and a stain on spine and back. Corners have minimal bumping, but spine has a crease and a lean. Pages are tanned/browned with slight foxing. No inscriptions.
