FANTASTIC LEJOUR CHRONOGRAPH WATCH, RALLY, “MARIO ANDRETTI” VALJOUX 7730

Description: Up for sale we have a fantastic near mint Lejour Chronograph watch. This one is near perfect with very little wear and has recently been serviced and a new custom made band(extra long) added. I will give you the paperwork from the service. I never really wore this and it shows from the condition it is in. Black bezel is perfect, the case is very nice with no oxidation, a very minor scuff on the back. A little background on the watch. Lejour was a French watch company that mainly retailed and distributed Swiss timepieces in Europe and the United States. Its most well known partner was Heuer, but it was also the U.S. distributor for the brand Yema until 1980.The company also branded timepieces made by other Swiss watchmakers and sold them under the Lejour name. Mario Andretti made this one famous after a 1969 Indianapolis 500 win when he wore the watch. This has a valjoux caliber 7730 movement that runs strong and will last another lifetime. Case has a new gasket and is sealed tight otherwise I would post photo, but I do not have a heavy duty case opener. I will be listing more watches that I am parting with in coming week.
